The colors were much lighter than they appear in the photo. Too washed out for what we were looking for - we're returning.

i bought 2 of these twin sets, and absolutely love them! the cotton is pure and soft, and has become softer with each washing, and the colors are soft and cheerful! i had wondered how the twin set handled mixing or matching the pillow shams since they show both blue and (celery) green pillow covers - turned out they sent a blue one with one duvet cover, and a green one with the other duvet cover. that's fine with me, though some matchy matchy types might not be happy with that. the duvet covers remind me of the simple, easy going duvet covers my husband's family and friends in europe all have - no fuss, no muss!
