Rather than the ivory edging publicized on the Amazon website, the edging on this comforter is an ugly dark metallic gold. The comforter just looks unadorned tacky. I force be fond of this look on the parapet of my favorite Indian restaurant, save for not on my bed. Also, lacking even notch the wrap, I can see that some of the metallic gold threads are broken. We used this set to get my 2 year old son excited in this area his big-boy bed. He loves animals and it's not too baby so I thought it would be a good middle set. We took down the crib, set up his new bed and I of way washed the set before to putting it on. When I pulled the eiderdown out of my washer here was colorless big the planet over. I check and here was a big hole in the seam of the eiderdown everywhere the stiching had not caught aptly. I had a modest boy who was actually excited (with a lot of parental promotion) in this area this eiderdown (no returning at that top) so I pulled out my darning machine and flat it the best that I may maybe. It has held up so far with a few more washes but I don't have high hopes and hate that I paid for a in tears and had to fix it before to it even got used.

I ordered three of these sets for my boys. I was skeptical because of copious bad reviews, but for this price I decided to try them anyway. I have a two five-time-olds and a three-time-old, so washing is a must! I have washed these several times currently and have not had a single stitch come undone. I have one of the older washing machines too that really put a beating on things with the center agitator. I read that these have the cotton batting that bunches up too, hmmm. Well as far as I can caution it single bunches up at the top and bottom of the comforter, the middle stays in house well. I was worried I needed to be an expert seamstress to own one of these sets! Not the case. Like I said, I ordered three of these and house of protection't had a single problem with one of them. I tint them about twice a week too. I do dried made known them on low excitement. And no problem, the floor skirt is the same print as the comforter, not plain orange as pictured. If you like the pic, you will like them in person. Mine is identical. I felt these were extremely similar to children's sleeping bags. Great for superfluous cold winter nights. My boys and I really like these! The four star rating comes starting the cotton batting bunching up at the top and bottom of the comforter. (But not horribly!) Hope this review helps! I loved this quilt in the depiction, and even best when I had the real thing. It is so sweet, and bounty big ample -- I hate so-called "king-size" spreads that barely cover the top of the bed. This one hangs nicely all almost. I've had it long ample to wash a link of times, and it comes owing to the wash and dry administer just fine too. Very pleased with this hold.

The before one had been washed copious times and was early to waste away. Since we be inflicted with a dog and it held up so well I wanted to exchange with the constant. This was is thinner, the strip is 60 % undone, the dog jumped up as permanently and a fissure appeared. I just expected this comforter set in king size this time. I must agree with the reviewer who said the colors are definitely more muted than depicted on Amazon. I subdue opted to buy the comforter flush knowing there was a chance I wouldn't like the colors as much as I hoped I would. I do realize that every monitor is different so I am not blaming Amazon, but I feel potential buyers should be aware of this before buying the set. My biggest complaint is that the comforter is predominantly golden-haired, actually reasonably a deep, warm mustard golden-haired. In the online pic it appears much lighter and more of a creamy golden-haired. The blue squares on the comforter are a light dusty blue (80's flashback!) - in the depiction it appeared more of a light turquoise. Having said all that....I subdue love the comforter. The colors *are* rich and warm and overall I subdue am satisfied with the set. The quality appears to be extremely good, flush if having just expected the set I can't vouch for long-term wear and tear.Check over: Have owned this comforter set for seven months currently and it has been washed several times. Just wanted to enlarge thatit's land up extremely well...it becomes softer with each tint and the colors aren't fading much at all...if whatever thing if just has a slightly more "antique" look currently which I actually like. I would decide with reviewers who say that the colors on the quilt are not as vibrant as in approximately of the images. On the website, the golds peek more yellow, the greens brighter, and it looks be fond of there is approximately orange. As I showed the image to my husband, he understood he liked it but that it looked fall-ish. I really wanted to use it as a replacement for a spring/summer quilt that my dog tore up. On the quilt I received, the yellow is more golden rod and the additional shades are muted, antique looking colors. Initially, I was a little disappointed with it indoors, because it was not as sharp as I thought it would be. Though, I reflect the colors in detail are more suited to decorating for most people. It looks very nice on the bed, is large sufficient to hang not working on the sides about 5 inches below the mattresses on my California ruler bed (although not bedspread length as in the depiction), and the pillows add just sufficient "comfy" to the peek. The feature is good, and it looks as if it will call up to repeated washings. It is not heavy. We currently have it covered over a sheet and 1 additional thin quilt and it is just right. We will take out the additional quilt as our summer weather arrives. For the fee, I don't reflect you can get a best take care of business. If you be fond of the style, buy this.
