Emilia Clarke named AskMen's Most Desirable Woman of 2014

LOS ANGELES, Feb. 11 (UPI) -- Daenerys Targaryen, platinum-haired Mother of Dragons, has topped AskMen's list of Most Desirable Women for 2014.

Emilia Clarke is a brunette in real life, but the 26-year-old Brit has become a hot commodity for her starring role in HBO's Game of Thrones.

AskMen described Clarke's character as having an "olderworldly beauty," which helped her beat out No. 2 pick Alison Brie, of Community, and No. 3's Emily Ratajkowski, the model from Robin Thicke's "Blurred Lines" video.

Rounding out the top five are Jennifer Lawrence, last year's top pick, and Emma Watson.

Game of Thrones' fourth season starts April 6.
